Moisture Absorption and Odor Resistance
The yarn used in the SOFT WOOL BOXER is NIKKE AXIO, a blend of merino wool and regenerated polyester. The use of regenerated polyester filaments provides the durability and quick-drying properties essential for underwear.
Additionally, the odor-resistant properties of wool are a key feature. For example, in situations like multi-day hikes where carrying many changes of clothing is challenging, the wool's odor-resistant capabilities will be especially beneficial.

Sustainability Initiatives
NIKKE AXIO
HERENESS had paid attention to the functionality of NIKKE AXIO before its launch and had been considering commercializing it. However, we gave up using NIKKE AXIO because only virgin polyester was available at that time. We continued to ask for the filament to be made of recycled polyester, and with the cooperation of NIKKE, we were finally able to use NIKKE AXIO with recycled materials. We plan to continue expanding our line of wool x recycled polyester products using NIKKE AXIO.

Why non-mulesed merino wool?
New Zealand has decided to ban mulesing (the process of removing skin from sheep buttocks), and the wool we use is 100% sourced from Merino sheep in New Zealand. We believe that wool is a gift from sheep, and we should not support any practices that cause in their suffering. As a brand promoting the benefits of wool, we are committed to advocating for animal welfare.
