Classic design meets modern technology
The piping detail on the CLASSIC RACE SHORTS pays homage to the great races in running history. Even though the design is a throwback to the past, the material used is cutting edge and sustainable. The innovative fabric, a blend of recycled and plant-derived material, is excellent at wicking away moisture. It offers a comfortable stretch similar to spandex, but more durable.
Choose Sustainable Fabrics
No more spandex
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say spandex, or polyurethane, has revolutionized sportswear with its outstanding stretch and lightweight properties. It can be found blended into most functional wear today.
50% recycled + 18% plant-derived fabric
The yarn used in the Classic Race Singlet is made by combining 50% recycled and 18% plant-derived polymers. By combining two polymers with different physical properties, crimp (waves in the yarn structure) is formed, resulting in natural elasticity without the need for spandex. This innovative material is both sustainable and functional.
